KOEHN, Mabel Fowler - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Newport News – Mabel Fowler Koehn, 90, died Saturday Nov 24 in James River Convalescent Center. She was born in Veedersburg, Ind and had been a Peninsula native for two years. Mrs. Koehn was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Danville, Ill. Mrs. Koehn retired in 1978 from the Veterans Administration after 20 years as a bookkeeper.  Survivors include two daughters, Martha Gale of Corona, Calif and Karen Tantillo of Newport News; one son, Donald Koehn of Bloomington, Ill; one brother, Donald Fowler of New Philadelphia, Ohio and eight grandchildren.  A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday in Lutheran Cemetery, Danville, Ill.  Weymouth Funeral Home is in charge. - kz
